The yearly Q-for-new-notes event is here again!

Every year before Chinese New Year, you will see long snaking queues at DBS/POSB ATMs or bank branches to get new notes for CNY Ang Bao money.

DBS/POSB Online Reservation For New Notes

Place an online reservation for CNY New notes and Fit-for-Gifting notes using the last 4 digits of your DBS/POSB ATM, Debit, or Credit Card number.

The online reservations service starts on 17 January 2024.

24 to 31 January 2024
22 to 28 January 2024
1 to 8 February 2024
  • Collection dates exclude Saturday and Sunday
  • Only 1 reservation per customer
  • No amendments allowed after submission
  • Reserve up to S$1,000 for new notes and S$1,200 for fit notes.

Steps For Online Reservation

  1. Visit the online notes reservation site via DBS official website.
  2. Key in your ID and last 4 digits of your ATM/Debit/Credit Card Number.
  3. Select your choice of branch, date and time of reservation.
  4. Indicate the number of DBS QR Gift Pack(s) and desired quantity of notes for S$2, S$10, S$50 (notes denomination).
  5. Confirm your details and selection. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours upon submitting your request.
  6. Collect your notes at the selected branch during the specified date and time.

DBS/POSB Branch Walk-In

Branch walk-ins are only allowed for seniors aged 60 years and above OR customers with disability.

If you are not in these categories, do remember to make your reservation online starting on 17 January 2024 if you intend to do branch walk-ins.

Withdrawal period:

  • 24 January to 8 February 2024 (10am to 10pm)
  • 9 February 2024 (10am to 1pm)

You will be limited to only 3 withdrawals of new and Fit notes throughout this period.

Packages available:

  • S$100 (S$2 x 50 pcs)
  • S$300 (S$10 x 30 pcs)
  • S$500 (S$50 x 10 pcs)
  • S$600 (S$10 x 20 pcs) + (S$50 x 8 pcs)
