In celebration of our 90th anniversary, UOB Afterhours is a digital concert series that reimagines our banking spaces after operating hours – turning them into intimate sessions that connect audiences with popular music artists within Asia.

Firdhaus / 菲道尔 performs his heartfelt track ‘能遇见，就很不错了’ live this episode, a song that celebrates the beauty of chance encounters.

Firdhaus is a trilingual Malaysian singer-songwriter and one of the few non-Chinese artists to break into mainstream Mandarin music. His breakout hit 'Gulf of Alaska' garnered over 940 million plays on DouYin (抖音), followed by 'Divorce in Ghana' surpassing 44 million views on YouTube. Blending Mandopop, R&B, and rock, his heartfelt songs resonate across Asia. His 'Hello Again' world tour also sold out in every city across Asia and Australia.

Ten years ago, Kittipop Kingskul was told he might never walk again after a life-changing accident. Instead of giving up, he embraced resilience—regaining strength, completing a two-year vocational program for people with disabilities, and continuing his education.

His determination led him to become a special-needs teacher, earn a university degree, and ultimately join UOB Thailand. Today, his story reflects the power of perseverance, family support, and opportunities that enable dignity and independence.

90 Years and Beyond | Right By Our Colleagues ft. Kittipop Kingskul

ASEAN Consumer Sentiment Study (ACSS) is UOB’s regional flagship study analysing consumer trends and sentiments in five countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam). Now in its 6th year, the 2025 survey was conducted in May-June in partnership with global management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group. It captures the responses of 5000 consumers across different demographic groups in this dynamic ASEAN region. In Vietnam, 1000 consumers were surveyed.
